New Construction Painting & Spraying (Sylvadene)

Project Description

Interior painting of a newly built home. We prepped all of the trim & wood work and sprayed them for a glass finish. The walls and ceilings were rolled on after.

Preparation & Painting Details

  1. Fill all holes in trim and repair damaged trim

  2. Sand all trim with dustless sander (240 grit)

  3. Mask all areas with tape & plastic & paper

  4. Spray prime all trim

  5. Sand primed trim  with dustless sander (240 grit)

  6. Caulk all cracks in baseboards, doors & casings

  7. Vaaccuum all trim to remove loose dust & wipe down with damp rag

  8. Spray first finish coat on trim

  9. Light hand sand to all trim (240 grit) after the first coat

  10. Wipe down all trim again

  11. Spray final finish coat on all trim

  12. Tape all trim & baseboards to protect from overspray while rolling

  13. Cut & roll the finish coat on to the walls
