FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All of our painters are in-house and we have worked with them for many years. We NEVER bring strangers inside your home. You can rest easy knowing that you & your home will be safe with our friendly professional crew.

Our team is small by design and we do not plan to change that. We will not risk our quality or reputation in the name of growth. Our priority is maintain quality services for our customers and to take care of our current team members.

We provide a 2 year warranty on  exterior projects and a 4 year warranty on interior projects (this is different than our maintenance program). Our warranty is that we will come back and touch up defects such as premature peeling. This means you can be worry-free and rest assured that you continue to be satisfied with our worksmanship throughout the years.

There are a few exceptions to our warranty: Horizontal surfaces which experience foot traffic (Ex. decks), Vinyl which has been painted dark colours (We advise against this but somtimes homeowners accept the risks), Problematic areas such as rotting wood surfaces or siliconed surfaces (We will advise you of these surfaces beforehand). We will also NOT warranty any areas where you explictly ask for less prep.

For interior projects, our painters only use top of the line latex paints from Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams and Dulux. 

We protect and move all furniture unless explicitly asked not to.

• Our crewmembers will move all the furniture to the middle of the room and wrap everything with plastic. This protects your belongings from overspray or potential accidents.

• We protect your floors with dropclothes and paper to ensure that there are no scratches or paint splatters.

• If we are painting the ceilings, we will remove your lights or cover them with plastic. Potlights that can pop out will be lowered and covered with plastic.

Vincent Nguyen, the founder of Finesse Finish Painters has been painting since 2012. He started Finesse Finish Painters in 2016 and has been providing exceptional service for clients since.

We always remove the plates on your switches, diffuser grilles, washroom fan grilles and other covers. This ensures that the wall underneath is painted (incase you ever change plates) and that the brush marks are minimized. 

Our homepainting company is based in South Etobicoke, Toronto. We service The Kingsway, Baby's Point/Old Mill, Bloor West Village, Swansea, High park and all of Toronto and surrounding GTA (Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, King City, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, Pickering, New Market, Aurora, Ajax, Whitby).

Our homepainters always clean up after ourselves and never leave your house looking like a mess. That means we sweep at the end of each day and do a full clean at the end of the job.

Our homepainting experts always quote for 2 coats of paint unless explicitly stated. For new construction  or situations where we know for sure that 2 coats will not be enough, we will apply a full coat of primer first (and will mention it on the quote). Any additional coats will be subject to extra charges. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to predict how well a new colour will hide the existing colour underneath.

After submitting a request or giving us a call, we can typically provide a quote within 1-2 days. WIth that being said, we can also provide same day quotes. Just let us know if you are in a rush or if the matter is urgent!
