Cedar Deck Restoration (Martin Grove)

Project Description

Restoration of an old wooden deck in the Kingsway. The deck was left uncoated for many years and as a result became gray, dirty and wrinkled. We brought the deck back to life by cleaning, refacing and then staining the wood with oil based semi-transparent stain.

Preparation & Painting Details

  1. Pressure wash the dirt and debris off while using a wood reviver solution.

  2. Intense sand of the deck to make the wood flat and even in colour.

  3. Vaaccuuming all loose dust and debris.

  4. Apply two coats of oil semi-transparent stain.
