HOW IT WORKS

1. Estimate / Scheduling

Once you request a free quote, we will reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule a free estimate. You can expect the following the following:

Our team member will text/call you 1 day prior to the appointment to confirm the meeting.
On site, we will do a full walk-through with you to ensure the entire scope is captured. Expect us to ask lots of questions so that we can fully understand your expectations.
We will take a moment to measure all of the areas, add up the numbers and prepare the estimate.
You will receive a quotation on the spot (this will later be emailed to you). We will carefully go through the scope, pricing and expectations with you. The quotation will then be emailed to you so that there is full transparency and no confusion.
If you decide to proceed, we will schedule you in to the desired dates. We will also require a 30% deposit which could be paid via e-transfer, cash or cheque.

Duration: Approx. 45min - 1hr depending on the size and scope.

2. Setup

On the first day of the job you can expect the following:

Our crew will arrive between 8AM-9AM (we can also accommodate specific timing requests). They will introduce themselves to you and do a full walkthrough with you to confirm the scope, exchange information (incase you need to contact him) and discuss the game plan with you. Typically the production manager will confirm details such as paint colours, special requests and last minute scope changes (maybe you want an additional room painted).

Duration: Approx 45min

3. Cover, Prep & Paint

Depending on your project type, the protection, prep & painting process vary. To see the exact painting process, you can check out our services page for the exact details. In general, you should expect the following:

Our crew will cover your furniture with plastic, protect the floors with dropclothes or paper and remove all faceplates. We will tape windows and hardware on doors.
Trim will be caulked, sanded & wiped down. Any holes/knicks in the walls or trim will be filled/patched.
Problem surfaces will be primed (water stains, wood knots, oil paint, etc...)
We will apply a minimum of 2 coats of paint to all surfaces. This will ensure proper coverage and protection. Additional coats of paint may be required for certain colours.
Our production manager and crew will touch base with you at the end of each day. We will update you with what has been done and what needs to be done the following day. If you are not home, we will provide you with a video update.

4. Final Check & Maintenance

When the painting is done, our Production Manager joins you for a detailed walkthrough to ensure every line is sharp, every surface is perfect, and every promise is delivered.

We'll then arrange payment in whichever way is easiest - cheque, e-transfer or cash.

And because our relationship doesn't end when the job does, we'll check in annually for two years to inspect and refresh as needed - completely free of charge.

How long have you been in business for?

Our company was officially founded in 2016. With that being said, our painters and owner all have 10+ years experience in the painting industry

What is your free 2-year scheduled maintenance?

We believe that your house should look great years after we are done painting. However life happens. That is why we include 1hr of free touch-ups/ maintenance each year for every full paint job. It doesn't matter if you accidentally scuffed the wall. We will take care of it.

How many coats of paint do you apply?

Our standard quotes include 2 coats of paint. When an area clearly needs more than 2 coats (ex. deep colours, dramatic colour changes, contaminiation, etc...) then we will incude a primer coat. Sometimes it is difficult to predict a head of time whow many coats will be needed.

Are estimates & consultations free?

We provide FREE estimates/consultations/quotes. These estimates are valid for up to 1 year after which we will have to do another visit to ensure conditions haven't changed too much.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept e-transfer, cash & cheque. E-transfer is preferred

Do you provide an estimate on the spot?

You will receive an estimate on the spot when you schedule a free painting estimate with us. We will run you through the estimate so that there is no confusion and then immediately email you a copy so that everything is clear and transparent.
